A final curtain call for a very likable Paul Walker (FF7 is only partially him), the movie still has a very Luc Besson feel (Taxi/Transporter/FifthElement etc.) and for good reason - this is a remake of the now 10 year old Banlieue 13 (which I have just added to my to-watch list).
