Review of Brick Lane (2007) by Erica T — 15 Oct 2008

I liked this film, but I feel like it jumped too quickly in time. In the very beginning you see Nanzeen as a child, and then in flashbacks that is fine and needed to show the relationship with her sister.

The problem is Nanzeen is married at 17, and basically the next scene is over 15 years later. To me that was a little confusing because you are wondering for a second, who are these children? I agree that the last half of the film was much more intersting than the first.
