Review of Brick (2006) by Jonathan R — 12 Sep 2010
As a fan of the genre, I found this film rewarding. The dialogue's a little too cool, and the plot is maybe a little too twisted, but it really works as an homage to the great noirs it emulates. As an emulation, however, I think it is destined to remain; it's not quite good enough to stand on its own.
