Review of Brick (2006) by Adam B — 17 Jan 2012
Very well done. This film perfectly blends a classic genre with a modern setting, and this makes for a rewarding watch. Some of the scenes are particularly well-shot, in particular a chase scene that focuses on long shots rather than quick cuts.
Due to the quick dialogue and high learning curve for its story, the plot can be quite difficult to follow. Even so, the entertainment value here is high.
