Review of Brick (2006) by Sarfaraz A — 17 Aug 2012
This modern-era with elements of neo-noir is good film as well as directorial-debut work by Rian Johnson. I had found out about this having watched David Lynch's Blue Velvet in 2008, and while crisscrossing supreme arty work on the subject of self-proclaimed man sternly stubborn enough to find out secret motives behind the killing and the perpetrators. Brick was the film the then, which shared common goals with Blue Velvet's central protagonists. Don't miss it, if you're crazy about murder-mystery movies, like myself.
NOTE: Brick is referred to brick-like block of heroin.
