This is one of those movies I watch and feel really cool watching it. Like listening to a Miles Davis record or something. I love the dialogue. Though borrowing a lot from the noir catalogue this movie handles well on its own.
It made suburbia actually feel like crime infested 1930's Chicago, it's brilliant you gotta have a special kind of eye to pull that off.
