Review of Breathe (2017) by Jacob M — 20 Dec 2017
Breathe - Review (2017).
The Good.
Andrew Garfield is fantastic as Robin Cavendish he is a man with his whole life ahead of him before he is "cruelly paralysed by polio" at the age of 28. Given only three months to live, he defies medical experts by becoming one of the longest-living polio survivors in Great Britain.
Claire Foy is Great as Diana Cavendish (she is better in The Crown).
Andy Serkis's Direction - This is his first Movie he has directed.
Everyone else is fine.
Very heartwarming.
The Bad.
It feels too long.
Its not as well paced as The Theory of Everything.
It time skips too much.
Overall: Its a good movie where the performance of Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy carry the movie.
Overall Grade: C+.
