Review of Breaking and Entering (2006) by Nilufer E — 05 Apr 2010
I'm not entirely sure this fil had a point let alone a plot. I know its worng to speak ill of the dead but Anthony Minghella wasn't dead when this film was release therefore its safe it say it sucked and was far less what I expected.
None of the characters were likeable, they either either very annoying, full of themselves or did learn that moral lesson at the end. Simply this was just a waste of time. What are the meaningful connections between these people's lives? Are they real and significant, or are they just plot contrivances, the manipulation of pawns in an onscreen board game? Just random people talking about forced situations.
Hard to tell I didn't like this....I know. Anyhoo, East Edwick who has a blink and you'll miss role, Ray Winstone and the randomly unexplained prescence of Vera Farmiga they were the ONLY reason why I didn't turn this off.
