Review of Breaking and Entering (2006) by Terror A — 27 Oct 2007
While the latest film from writer/director Anthony Minghella is nicely made and well acted by its three leads (Robin Wright Penn is the stand-out with her beautifully done performance), unfortunately they can't save the film from being a complete bore.
First off the story took a very long time to get where it was going and once it did I wasn't interesting or compelling. The solid supporting cast were wasted (Vera Faminga, whose character was rather pointless but funnily enough she was the only few bright spots about it) and it was overlong and slow paced.
In the end I give it credit on what it was trying to do but it was just too boring.
