Review of Breaking and Entering (2006) by Terry D — 08 Apr 2008
After a dynamic and amusing first hour, the second hour was muddled and dull.
It almost seemed to be two different films, the first played a little for laughs and the second the drama love story. I also didn't feel that the connection was there between the leads and after an hours worth of almost characterisation the meeting and love stroy was rushed, almost love at first sight.
It's a shame because it felt promising and has great direction for the first half and amazing cinematography, making London look good(ish) although a London that doesn't exist in the real world.
