Review of Breaking and Entering (2006) by Benjamin — 11 Sep 2009
To start - I'm not a fan of Jude Law; and yet - I found myself drawn to him in this film, as was Juliette Binoche's character. Robin Wright Penn was the perfect opposite to Binoche. I think the script was perfect - til the end where it (only minorly) fell apart.
The title aptly applies to the physical robbery that spurns the events that follows, as well as the emotional sabotage within relationships in the film. I found it to be smart, intriguing and engaging, with fantastic acting by all.
