Review of Breakfast with Scot (2007) by Bryan I — 14 Dec 2008
It's okay, I suppose. The swishy little kid is a little unbelievable in how oblivious he is to his own effeminate flamboyance and why that may be off-putting to others. It's also a little tough to believe that he has no awareness of others' personal boundaries.
I did think that the OTHER kids were all wonderful and real.
The production values, though, reek of TV-Movie. It begins to feel like a new spin-off for Degrassi once we get about midway in (and this time I sincerely DON'T mean that in a good way!).
