Review of Breakfast on Pluto (2005) by Aemilia R — 20 Aug 2008
I rented this film on the basis of liking Cillian Murphy as an actor - I didn't know anything about it other than it was his and there was GLBT interest. It turned out to be a sweet, interesting, inventive film.
I particularly liked Liam Neeson in it, and it gave an interesting perspective on life in Ireland during the 1970s. There was a delightful edge of fantasy throughout that Murphy captured very well with his acting.
Worth seeing for those with an interest in any of the topics (IRA, transgender issues, etc.).
