It took me awhile to get into this movie. Once I saw that Holly had a secret past, though, I was hooked until the end. Audrey Hepburn gives such a wonderful performance as Holly, truly a damaged optimist.
George Peppard was perfect as Paul. Buddy Ebsen, Martin Balsam, Patricia Neal and Mickey Rooney made up an excellent supporting cast. Tear jerker ending with the cat was my favourite part :).
