Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Keenan S — 12 Aug 2011
All it took was one viewing for me to absolutely adore Breakfast At Tiffany's and actress Audrey Hepburn. Everything about this film shines, even though people do question some of its undertones and some accuse it of being racist because of its Asian character (Oh grow a pair!).
I was absolutely enthralled by the life of Holly Golighty and her random escapades with millionaires she hopes to marry, while having fun little adventures with a man who's madly in love with her and she can't seem to see it.
This film was funny, adventurous, and also dark and depressing when the lives of these characters start to fall apart and come to the surface. The film is positively superb in every aspect, and flawless.
