Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Daniel S — 15 Jul 2010
This is a splendid comedy with a great dramatic element to it and lots of soppy romantic smooches... What isn't to love? Audrey Hepburn is one of my idols and without this movie I would of never of known who she was.
Her performance and portrayal of Holly is spot on. She can take on any type of emotion and get a reaction from the audience that is expected. I know romantic comedies aren't exactly to everyone's taste but this is THE romantic comedy and even if you don't like the genre it is essential to see this film! A lot of the comedy is typical of films from the 1960s but their is a special sparkle about it that just has to get a little giggle out of your lungs.
What are you waiting for, Darling? Watch it!
