Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Monzi S — 19 Jul 2010
Breakfast at Tiffany's is a classic and a favourite. Audrey Hepburn oozes with charm in her role as Holly Golighty, a misunderstood young woman to whom love is the least important thing. Hepburn is a born star, no wonder she is such an icon in this. George Peppard was irresistable as the sweet and good natured writer who is infatuated by Holly. Peppard and Hepburn have a good chemistry and rapport. Breakfast at Tiffany's is both witty and poignant and leaves you with all sorts of emotions. The film depicts how sad and empty life can be, but also the joys that love brings. This is a beautiful film and is one of my favourite romances. You simply have to see Breakfast at Tiffany's. Put it on your list of films to see if you haven't already seen it.
