Review of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) by Adam B — 17 Sep 2010
It surprised me how much I enjoyed this. Although the ending is very predictable, the film as a whole wasn't too annoying, soppy or cringeworthy. Audrey Hepburn as Holly is charming, sweet and funny and she puts in a great performance.
Although she seems like a crazy and happy woman it is obvious that there is something wrong with her, but we never really find out. From watching this film I also learnt that laughing at funny Chinese men isn't a new thing! Despite the fact it's a chick flick where I would normally hate just about everything about it, turned out I found it really entertaining.
