This movie portrays the opposite of what women were "suppose" to be; always at home cleaning, raising the children and make living for the man as pleasent as possible while the man was out working.
Throughout the movie it shows that Holly, the main charactor, has always ran away when she fell in love. The director of the movie makes Holly, 2E, and Paul look like prostatutes. Holly always marrying for money, 2E leaving money after with Paul, and Paul with 2E.
Even though there are a lot of portrayals this movie, to me, is a a classic romance.
