This movie is based on a true story as written by the one survivor of the 3. Book is titled "Scapegoats of the Empire". This movie is a brilliant expose of the orthogonal relationship between the rules of engagement and the reality of a guerrilla war (one where the enemy does not wear a uniform).
Very relevant to everyday life in Vietnam and clearly informs us not to judge the actions of men when they are put into irrational circumstances.
