I remember being enticed into seeing this for the first time by a Barry Norman review on Film80 or perhaps Film 81. A terrific film that tales a ratrher more cynical view of the "glories" of the British Empire and the Boer War than "Young Winston"! Edward Woodward also demonstrates the missed oppotunity that was the failure to make "Callan - The Musical".
