Director Jonathan Mostow Knows His Hitchcock & Spielberg In This Very Well-Made Thriller From 1997. Mostow Certainly Uses The Classic Style Of Hitchcock, & For Fans Of Spielberg Or Trucking Movies Will Notice Quite Distinct Refrences & Directorial Style Considering The Atmosphere Found In The 1971 TV Movie "Duel", Which Was Directed By Steven Spielberg & Put Him On The Map.
Good Casting In Kurt Russell & J.T. Walsh Also Plays A Major Part In The Great Enjoyability In This Film.
