I love this movie.. this is romantic, but this is not just about love, it's also about finding your true self.. well, this movie seems rather suits the older viewers because of the insight this movie has but then I thought 'what would I become when i'm already a (cheated) wife..and a mother..?' so this is like an advanced warning to me he he he.

The set takes place in Venice.. yeah one of the most romantic cities in the world, the one that most people refer as 'the ideal honeymoon place'.. hmm..

People have to take roles with its own responsibilities in their life, and it's a matter of choices, and.. a commitment. but somewhere along the line, the roles we played more and more consume us and alienate us, then, suddenly.. we don't know who we really are anymore.. especially when you feel betrayed by your husband/wife.. I think this is what Rosalba experienced in this movie.. she 'escaped' and had a journey which she'd find a new meaning of life.. and herself.. her character is somewhat indecisive but I liked her anyway, she's calm but then Boom! take a turn..

I forget the name of Bruno Ganz' character but it suits the Rosalba character.. they compliment each other.. you'll see when you watch it.. and I can't imagine this is the man who played Hitler in der Untergang!! he is quite fragile here, well, a LOT different from the Adolf one, don't u think? :).

The movie seems so real.. that's what I like the most.. and in this movie everybody gets what they deserve..

This movie got me thinking.. what will I do.. once i'm getting married, have children, raise a family, and suddenly i'm not myself?? :O ((maybe i'll learn to play accordion so I could play like Rosalba did)).
