Review of Brave (2012) by Corinna O — 20 Dec 2013
Another winner from Disney/Pixar. The story is the weakest element of the movie in that it is a bit derivative of other movies/books (aspects of it are similar to Beowulf, etc.). This is easily overlooked as you get into the awesome animation and the stubbornness and determination of Princess Merida.
The voice acting is top notch. The visuals are not groundbreaking, unusual for Pixar, but still of the highest quality. I loved it.
