Review of Brave (2012) by Paul K — 26 Dec 2015
Our Christmas Day family viewing. It got a bit boring in the middle - to the extent that Ben fell asleep. I liked feisty Merida, and both animation and voicing were good. However the plot was poor, and a bit slow, once magic was added to the pot.
I didn't particularly like the stereotypical clansmen, although at least there was a Doric speaker even if he was particularly thick. Lots of other poor stereotypes too, and some rather tedious jokes.
Not bad, but not brilliant.
