The Scottish setting was very pleasing and the voice actors are cool, but the story is so uneven it hardly makes much sense. Let's set aside the obvious fact that it's completely unoriginal, but I don't see how this film could do so well with viewers.

Instead viewers called it great and it somehow fooled critics as well!? Let me point out that when Elinor turns into a bear and she and Merida leave the castle, the same EXACT thing is going on between the king and all the other characters a night or two later as if no one has even noticed a 24 hour change.

Am I the only one who caught this HUGE plot hole? Anyway I think the movie had much potential that fell horribly flat and somehow wooed everyone.
