Review of Brainscan (1994) by Glen N — 14 Jan 2007
When I first saw this movie 10 years ago I liked it very much. It has a certain feeling to it that I really liked. For example, the kid has a very nice room with some neat stuff that a lot of people his age would envy.
The hell that he goes through at the hands of the 'trickster' is too much to take. Things just get worse as the movie progresses and it's not until the very end that you see, with much relief, what is really going on.
Finally he couldn't have given the game to a nicer person at the end (his teacher)! The dog with the severed human foot was a nice touch.
