Review of Brainscan (1994) by Paul D — 24 Oct 2014
Very nice teenage hi-tec sci-fi lite-horror movie with a distinctive 90s feel, neat special effects (which look damn good for 1994) and a killer grunge/alternative soundtrack that plays along the whole movie.
Script is written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, 8mm, Sleepy Hollow) and as all of his works, it's first-class. Recommended to those who want to plunge into that 90s atmosphere for 1,5 hours and feel what it was like to listen to White Zombie, wear ripped jeans with flannel shirts to school and play videogames on CD.
For this purpose, this cult classic is really effin' good.
