Review of Brain on Fire (2017) by Simi S — 09 Jul 2018

I do not understand the hate towards this movie. Maybe it's because I went thought a similar, lighter story; but my father had a very similar experience to Brain on Fire. The entire time I was watching it, I was thinking "finally someone capturing what it is like to be sick and doctors, many many incapable doctors giving you BS answers.

" It was very realistic and Moretz is a beautiful actress. On top of which, it is based on a true story, so how can you say "it was meh"? This was someone's life and there are thousands, if not more, that are going through (like myself with half ass diagnosis but nothing concrete).

It is also brining awareness to the autoimmune disease world, which has a bigger population base than any of you are aware of!
