Review of Brain Dead (1987) by Bryan W — 25 Dec 2008
An intriguing, engrossing, and disgusting film that wraps the audience tight in the labyrinthine plot while simultaneously attempting to recreate the sensation of a mind gone mad in the viewer. I can't imagine another midnight movie succeeding on this level.
Bonus points for featuring the acting talents of the oft confused (and incredibly talented) Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton.
