Review of Brain Dead (1987) by Philip L — 07 Apr 2010
A little too complex to explain, and to be honest I'm not sure if I understood it all, but the movie is a wild and bizarre ride that descends so far into surreal nightmarish madness that you, as the viewer, are just as confused as the lead character.
TRIVIA: In the movie Dr. Rex Martin (Bill Pullman's character) states he attended 'Miskatonic University', the same college where Re-Animator takes place. Also, Bud Cort's character's name is Jake Halsey. Halsey is Barbara Crampton's character's last name in Re-Animator as well.
