Review of Brain Damage (1988) by Jared R — 01 Sep 2010

I adore this Frank Henenlotter film and feel it deserves a lot better score here. This is my absolute favorite of Henenlotters films and a brilliant horror/comedy in my opinion! The use of color and lighting is everything I could ask for in an 80's horror flick and then some! The creature in the film is so visually appealing and attractive to look at even though he looks exactly like a large turd! A super creative and original film that feels dream like at times.

I recommend this film to anyone who's a fan of the genre, they just don't make em like this anymore!
