Review of Boyz n the Hood (1991) by Drew W — 08 Nov 2009
This is one of those films that invites everyone, be you Black, White or whatever, to see just what is going on in the street of Los Angeles. John Singleton crafts a deeply realistic and emotionally registering film about the cycle of violence that existed during the 1990s, and even today it still remains relevant.
There are powerful moments shown through out, and the overall message of the movie is clear: increase the peace.
