Cultural touchstones and probably the best "hood" movie of all time (I have yet to see "City of God"), Boyz n the Hood is an influential movie with a story to tell, and does it tell it! The plot is relatively easy to keep up with, the characters different and diverse, and overall the moral a sad but true one.
