Review of Boyhood (2014) by Andrew L — 27 Apr 2015

This Film is a great cinematic feat but once you look past the 12 years film shoot, Boyhood isn't as great as it's feat. The story is very dull at points & many characters excluding the family (You could argue against the sister too) were very forgettable but that's what happens when you try to film a coming of age that's supposed to simulate life to it's fullest extent.

Given what the movie was & what it was trying to do, "Boyhood" is a wonderful movie but like life, it gets slow, dull & people sorta move in & out of it just like that.
