Review of Boyhood (2014) by Leigh J — 03 Sep 2015
This movie is long. Yet its not long enough. The things that happened to this boy didn't happen to me but I still identified with it. The title is perfectly apt; it's not just this one boy's childhood. It's everyone's.
My only gripe is that sometimes the nostalgia shots of "things that were popular at that time" feel a little forced. Like: dialogue, cut, gameboy, cut, dialogue.
