Review of Boyhood (1951) by Supes S — 27 Jun 2017
Boyhood was an awesome movie that follows the lives of a family, particularly the life of the boy in the movie. I think it's amazing how this movie has been in the works since the main kid actors were just children. You can't help but feel like your taking a glimpse into these kids lives growing up.
This movie, although being an instant classic, is also way too relatable to me. Actually I think most people that watch this movie can relate to it. That being said, I'm not sure if I would revisit this movie again. Movies to me are a means of escape, just like music, nature, and video games. When I watch a movie I don't really like to be reminded of all the crap that real life throws at you. So that's why I'm probably not watching it again.
