Review of Boychoir (2015) by Garry S — 31 Mar 2015
A routine drama about a troubled boy who is taken under the wing of a choir director, played by Dustin Hoffman. There's nothing offensive about the film, unlike so many Hollywood films, so you can forgive the by the numbers story, with everything tied up neatly with a ribbon by the end of it.
In 24 hours, I won't remember a lot of the film, with nothing really standing out for me. That isn't a sign of BAD cinema, it is entertainment for the moment.
