Review of Boxing Helena (1993) by Kashif A — 14 Dec 2007
Julian Sands stars as a weirdly socialized rich surgeon with a bad Oedipal complex and Sherilynn Fenn as the torso he loves. David Lynch's daughter rocks some great cheesy slow motion sequences set to equally corny early 90's music, including a voyeuristic sex scene set to Enigma, which, let's face it, no one could do with a straight face.
Romantic! A rad film debut. Too bad she didn't make anything else.
