Great ideas and fascinating social commentary get lost in sappy romance novel-esque sexploitation. Sherilyn Fenn is fabulous; it's too bad this film was so uneven. Julian Sands is gross. Really gross.
Perhaps Jennifer Lynch's new project will show signs of artistic maturity.
