Review of Bound (1996) by Kami L — 03 May 2008
Quite impressive movie actually. It's an old school-styled thriller with modern twist and VERY well executed. Crazy fucking plot and efficient acting by Joe Pantoliano especially.
So why's it better than most 90's thrillers? It gets straight to the point. No unreal plot twists or unnecessary drama crap. The Matrix brothers knew that by following the Hitchcock-thriller formula as faithfully as possible, you can't fail. And they didn't.
