Lesbians, gangsters & pantoliano - it's a wonder why this movie didn't go great guns at the box office. slick & beautifully framed, this is the debut feature the untrained wachowskis made before they asked the question we later decided wasn't worth answering (and perhaps before the brothers became brother and sister).
