Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Ojas V — 14 Feb 2009
Oh wow, the movie was so cheesy and pedestrian. Although the cinematography is beautiful, it was a script on autopilot, seeming written by someone with perhaps too much love for this important moment in wine history.
Alan Rickman exudes his typical smarminess, and its great to see Bill Pullman, and his son settle all their problems in funny boxing matches....but wow was this movie filled with cookie cutter bullshit.
