Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Kayvon P — 02 Mar 2009
The movie is worth watching if you love drinking wine and want to learn a bit more about the rise of California's Napa Valley wine industry. There are some cheesy scenes and the editing is very amateurish but the story that is told is entertaining and the characters (especially Bo Barrett) are tastefully reenacted.
The plot is based upon the true story of how Napa Valley wines beat the best French wines in a blind tasting in Paris that changed the landscape of the wine industry forever.
