Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Lorrie M — 05 Sep 2009

Say what you will about the plot, but like most movies based on historical events, you know how this one is going to turn out. Though the characters are a bit overplayed, Bottle Shock is both funny and poignant at the right moments.

However, by far the best part of this movie is the score; the music truly embodies the rolling hills of napa and the soft clinking of wine glasses, and at times provides a much needed lift to the storyline.
