Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Rory D — 14 May 2009
Not as great as other Anderson, but not greatly terrible. The good elements of later Anderson, like, solid script, smart song choice, bold and beautiful camera-work are mildly present, but fall short amidst jumbled pacing and editing and some not so strong performances ( ahem, Caan).
Still has great comedic moments, both attempted robberies are quite hilarious.
