Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Mike T — 27 Aug 2009
I might be a little generous with the rating of this feature, but I stand by it because this is exactly the kind of film a young Wes Anderson should have made, and it brought a smile to my face. Owen Wilson co-wrote the script and the quirkiness of the characters is one of its most endearing qualities.
It is a little raw, but that too seems to work to its advantage. A fun little feature.
