Bottle Rocket is perhaps one of the most original scripts and characters to have been written in the last two decade. Wes Anderson's first film is totally unpredictable, funny and exciting. You know the film is well written when despite having a premise explored before, you really have no idea what the next scene is going to be and this is the case for the entire film.
Owen Wilson delivers perhaps his best performance.
