Wes Anderson's first film. It's interesting to see him finding his style, and to see him doing things that have been dropped from his style in later films. You can tell it's Wes, but it's a very different Wes.
Also, this film contains my all-time favorite performance by Owen Wilson, and a very good one by Luke Wilson, both actors I usually like a lot anyway.
