Review of Bottle Rocket (1993) by Shawn S — 12 Jan 2013
Two young men steal from their parent's house like some second grade crooks. Wes Anderson's first official short film is particularly inspired by the works of the cinema verité and the first American independent works of John Cassavetes.
Though it may look a little too much like a film student work, there is no denying that there was already a definite style showing.
